Kathryn’s Bio:

Known as a “people person” throughout her career, Kathryn’s goal working with clients is to help cultivate an environment where they can be their best and do the best work of their lives. Kathryn’s passion and calling is to empower people through coaching to improve their thinking. When she is serving as a coach, Kathryn’s intent is to encourage and foster transformation by helping her clients create space, tune in to their truth, see the whole picture, and strive for progress over perfection.

Kathryn has an engineering degree from the University of Virginia and extensive experience in engineering, project management, and operations, both within the US and internationally. Her background spans multiple industries, including consulting, education, and financial services. Over the course of Kathryn’s 20 years in business, she has been a transformational leader and coach dedicated to creating environments that inspire, engage, and develop associates. Kathryn has implemented sustainable solutions for inspiring best-in-class associate engagement, co-founded company coach communities of practice, and launched leadership group coaching programs, all while excelling in deftly delivering on business strategy.

Kathryn is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI). This program is widely recognized as the most rigorous and thorough coach training and certification program in the industry and the only coach training program based on the Co-Active Model, a powerful process for engaging with others and supported by current scientific research.

Kathryn also holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) accreditation through the International Coach Federation (ICF), the organization responsible for creating core competencies and a code of ethics, which set the standard in the coaching field. The PCC credential is awarded to professional coaches who are committed to this strong code of ethics, have met stringent education and experience requirements, and demonstrated mastery of the ICF coaching competencies

Additionally, Kathryn is certified in The Leadership Circle Profile (TLCP) assessment, a best-in-class, competency based, 360° profile that reveals to leaders and managers what they are doing, why they are doing it, and what actions they can take to lift their leadership to a higher level.  Kathryn is a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI) and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) via the Scrum Alliance, the largest, most established and influential professional membership and certification organization in the Agile community.

Kathryn loves that people describe her as unabashedly honest, open, and direct and believes it is her responsibility to use those qualities in service of others. She has been called to the profession of coaching and is both humbled and grateful to be able to answer that call and be of service through this sacred work.

In her free time, Kathryn can be found in Richmond playing in one of her many chamber music ensembles, on the river with friends, or roller skating on old school quads at her favorite rink in town.
